As my family navigates my dad – (Ted Turner‘s) courageous battle with Lewy Body Dementia (LBD), we rely on cutting edge information from the fields of health and medicine.
One of the most passionate and impactful speakers for me at Life Itself was Susan Schneider Williams who shares her personal journey of what she and her late husband Robin Williams went through, and how crucial it is to develop an accurate biomarker for LBD. Robin was not correctly diagnosed until after his death. Lewy Body Dementia is often misdiagnosed as Alzheimer’s or Parkinson’s.
