30th Anniversary of Captain Planet Foundation on Bloomberg Businessweek Podcast

Tune in!!! Bloomberg Business Podcast featuring Laura Turner Seydel

What a privilege to join the hosts of Bloomberg Businessweek Podcast to talk about the 30th anniversary of Captain Planet Foundation and the exciting launch of our new Planeteer Alliance platform. Taking care of the environment is definitely in my DNA as you’ll hear in this interview, featuring a front row seat to life with the real-life Captain Planet, my dad, Ted Turner.

The Planeteer Alliance will offer young people around the world a platform to take on a broad range of issues like ocean and freshwater health; climate change; soil and food systems; biodiversity loss; and air quality. Young people, ages 10-23, from anywhere on Earth at any stage in their environmental activism are encouraged to join. Leesa Carter, President and CEO of Captain Planet Foundation says this about a program that propels passion and impatience for change into action for the planet. “We’re energized to offer yet another avenue for diverse young individuals to come together to create and collaborate on sustainability action plans. In the years to come, we look forward to seeing how these young people will change the world.” Change the world indeed!
