For everyone out there getting ready or currently traveling for the holiday season, I wanted to highlight a really exciting pilot project that is going on at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Hartsfield-Jackson is one of the busiest airports in the world, and its Concourse T will serve as the first Sustainable Food Court Initiative pilot project. (more…)

Anyone who knows me knows my personal pet peeve is one-use items. Items like Styrofoam cups, plastic bags or plastic drinking straws are such an immense waste and major blow to our environment. (more…)

Last week I went to New York for the Women’s Network for a Sustainable Future (WNSF) conference. I was so honored to be an award recipient this year for my work with businesses and local governments on reducing waste in their community with the Zero Waste Zone project. (more…)
